How to Enable YouTube's Dark Mode on Android App and Desktop Browser

Dark mode is easier to look at in low ambient lighting and provides an easier on the eyes viewing experience. It will nice experience if you watch YouTube's video on dark mode. YouTube dark theme is available on the YouTube website and in YouTube’s mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Here we will show how to turn it on, in both your desktop browser and the Android mobile app.

Enable YouTube's dark mode on Android App:

1. Open the YouTube app and tap your account icon in the top-right corner.
2. Tap the Settings.
3. Tap General on the Settings screen.
4. Find the Dark theme option and toggle on the switch to its right.

Enable YouTube's dark mode on Desktop Browser:

• Go to YouTube and click on your user icon in the top-right corner.
• Click on the Dark theme: off.

  

• Click the toggle switch to turn on Dark theme.
